Can anyone indentify this object?

This sphere has 1 meter of diameter and was found in a farm in central Brazil this weekend.

According to Sebastião Marques da Costa, man who found the object, it was hot when he found it.

No one around could figure out what it is...

Maybe a space geek from Digg can give us some insight, if this is a known piece of space ship or satellite that has fallen down to earth.

From another perspective

Definitely not from a satellite or spacecraft. See how the oject is made from one blade in a shallow spiral formation? It's part of a tractor, combine, or farm vehicle of some sort.

joebobguy, I inserted another image from a different perspective, so you can see it's not a tipical piece of farm vehicle, like some sort of spiral/bladed rake.

It could still be from an orbiting piece of satellite/space-junk. It looks to me like it could be carbon-composite windings from around something else, like part of a composite shell.
